I Tried Lauren Conrad's New Beauty Line, and Yeah, You Know When You Love Something

Ever since Laguna Beach first aired on MTV in 2004, I have had a healthy obsession with Lauren Conrad. So naturally, as soon as she announced that she was launching a beauty brand — appropriately named Lauren Conrad Beauty — I knew the entire collection was going to be top-notch.
Lucky for me, I received a sample of her line over the weekend, which meant I had plenty of time to test it out. Vegan and cruelty-free, her collection features four lipsticks, three lip glosses, liquid eyeliner, highlighter, and a lip and cheek tint that is absolutely divine.

As a passionate lipstick collector, I'm the first person to admit there's no such thing as too many good options. And let's be clear: Lauren Conrad Beauty's The Lipstick ($20) just shot to the top of my list. Potentially the star of the whole collection, the lipsticks are available in four color options: shell, poppy, dahlia, and juneberry.
Each formula is infused with various ingredients you can feel good about like, argan oil, shea butter, and mango seed butter. And as you can see in the following photos, it goes on smoothly!

Available in shades like rose quartz, dawn, and raspberry, Lauren Conrad Beauty's The Lipgloss ($18) transports me back to the early 2000s. Perfect for a mid-afternoon refresh, I'd go with the raspberry shade, which tastes just like the fruit!

As someone who gets frustrated with most of the liquid options out there, I was pleasantly surprised while testing Lauren Conrad Beauty's The Liquid Eyeliner ($20). Thanks to a superfine tip, I didn't have to suffer through 16 trial runs before drawing on the perfect cat eye. Talk about a small victory!

Lauren Conrad Beauty's The Liquid Highlighter ($26) was the product I was most intrigued to try. As someone who usually prefers a stick applicator, I found I had more control with how much highlighter I actually put on with the liquid version. Plus, it's super lightweight and stayed on through a humid, socially-distanced BBQ.
