Barrymore has worn a lot of hats — or, rather hairstyles — in her roles. For Fever Pitch she cut bangs; for Scream she pulled inspiration from Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface with her blunt, blown-in bob. As for the character's beauty style that most closely matches her own, she said Sheila from Santa Clarita Diet isn't that far of a stretch, but her favorite role to date was far more high-maintenance.

"I love Lucy from 50 First Dates with her big blond, mermaid hair, but that was a hard look for me to achieve — that was a lot of hair," said Barrymore, adding that a lot of prep work and hair extensions went into creating the look.
