Makeup Artist Bobbi Brown's Jones Road Is Expanding Into Skin Care, and We Got the First Look

It's been three months since we were introduced to legendary makeup artist Bobbi Brown's new beauty brand, Jones Road, but she's ready to expand yet again — this time, into the skin-care category. Jones Road debuted with just three preliminary products (which immediately won us over, for the record) but quickly grew to include seven makeup products, and now four new skin-care products.

"There is no single product that guarantees great skin — practicing good lifestyle habits like eating well and staying hydrated is what really creates beauty from the inside out," Brown told POPSUGAR. "But these four skin-care products are meant to be simple solutions that instantly bring the skin to life. Each of them immediately hydrates and smooths the skin, creating the ideal complement to the existing Jones Road cosmetics collection."

With the brand's focus being on accentuating natural beauty and the minimal, no-makeup look that Brown is so well known for, a move into skin care is a natural fit. The key benefits of the new launches are hydration and prepping the skin for smooth makeup application. The Miracle Cream is a thick, deeply nourishing moisturizer (perfect for packing on the hydration in the winter) made from plant oils and butters, like avocado oil and shea butter, that comes in a solid form but melts into a silky finish when it comes into contact with skin. The Eye Cream is a bouncy, whipped, hydrating cream made with macadamia seed oil. The Hippie Stick is a universal "everywhere balm" that can be used to moisturize your body, face, and hair, and has a naturally sweet scent from coconut oil, sunflower seed oil, and shea butter in the formula. Finally, The Oil Stick is a hydrating oil treatment in solid form and is packaged in a unique stick applicator — not a roll-on.

Despite the products' rich textures, they don't leave behind a greasy finish and they help you get that highly sought-after dewy skin look. Like Jones Road makeup, the new skin-care products are all vegan, cruelty-free, and made with clean ingredients.

"My go-to product is the Miracle Cream," Brown said. "I just break the seal on the top of the cream, warm it up in my hands, and then generously apply it to my face at night. It works like an intense moisture mask."
