Ariana DeBose Pairs a Barbie-Pink Suit With Braids at the SAG Awards

Ariana DeBose turned heads at the 2023 SAG Awards on Feb. 26. Following her viral performance at the BAFTAs earlier this month, the actor hit the red carpet in a set of intricate braids and a voluminous ponytail. She paired the standout beauty look with a Barbie-pink suit and a french manicure dipped with black tips. For her makeup, DeBose continued the pink theme with rosy blush and glossy lip.

DeBose's hair featured eight cornrows leading into a bouncy ponytail. The style was secured with more hair. From the base of her neck, the star's curls broadened into a bountiful ponytail that cascaded down to her waist. On either side of her forehead, her baby hairs were laid flat in delicate swirls. After blowing kisses at the camera and giving a peek at her braids from all angles, DeBose joined Diego Luna onstage to present the category for female actor in a drama series.

The hairstyle is a notable departure from DeBose's signature bixie haircut and side-swept bangs with blond highlights. Other stars to rock the style on the red carpet in the past include Zendaya, Alicia Keys, and Rihanna.
