In April 2023, Offset got a massive back tattoo done in honor of his late Migos bandmate and cousin, Takeoff. The intricate piece of ink includes a detailed portrait of the former rapper, who was killed in a Houston shooting in November 2022. "I just covered my whole back with him; I feel like he just got my back," he said of the sentimental design. "It was kind of like my message to myself." He also shared that it took one session of eight hours to complete.
