#BottleNo30 Safe Water for Mathare Donation ($1-$60,000)
"Water for Mathare is the third project #BottleNo30 is doing in Kenya. Each project is a collaboration with WaterIsLife, a nonprofit organization based in Kenya, where we work intensively with selected communities to provide a healthier and more hopeful future through clean and safe water. These projects are my purpose; an obligation I put my heart into.
Mathare faces a critical water and sanitation crisis, with over 500,000 residents lacking access to clean water and proper sanitation facilities in one of Nairobi's most densely populated slums. Over 15,000 people will benefit from enhanced water security and stewardship. This initiative will improve health, family economics, and infrastructure, reduce plastic bottle use, promote community involvement, and establish a sustainable income model for the community."
