Dyson Airstrait Straightener ($550)
Dyson's Airstrait Straightener is not your traditional flat iron, and it's pretty different from the Corrale as well. The Airstrait uses high-pressured, concentrated air to dry and straighten the hair without the need for hot plates, so you can go from damp, freshly washed hair to a sleek straightened hair with just one tool. You can also use it rough-dry roots too. It has three preset temperatures for wet hair: 175°F, 230°F, and 285°F. It works on all hair types, including curly, wavy, and coily, but you might need to go over a section twice or three times to get the desired straightness depending on your texture. Although the Corrale can also wave and curl the hair, the Airstrait can only straighten, so it's ideal for those who prefer to wear their hair that way often.
