Reese Witherspoon's Milk-Bath Nails Define the Neutral Beauty Aesthetic

Reese Witherspoon is joining the milk-bath manicure trend. The actor and producer attended the premiere of the new show "Surface" in New York City on July 26, and her minimalist nails were the cherry on top of her neutral hair-and-makeup look.

For the event, Witherspoon stepped out in a sleek topknot, leaving out two small tendrils to frame her face, and soft makeup including a rosy blush, light-pink lips, and a soft winged eyeliner. True to the milk-bath trend, her nails were painted a soft, milky-white color and kept short and squared, making her entire look a neutral-lover's dream.

Milk-bath manicures have skyrocketed in popularity recently, with celebrities like Chrissy Teigen, Jennifer Lopez, and Dove Cameron wearing the trend. Though the look can be jazzed up by adding dried flowers to the nail bed, if you're a fan of neutral colors, keep the polish to a milky hue for a different take on the trend that is just as eye-catching.
