Angelina Jolie and Shiloh Visit a Syrian Refugee Family in an Emotional New Video

Nearly one month after Angelina Jolie took her daughter Shiloh on an emotional trip to Lebanon, the world is finally getting a glimpse of their touching visit. Angelina fulfilled one of Shiloh's wishes in June when they traveled overseas to spend time with a 12-year-old Syrian girl named Hala, whom Angelina met a year ago during a trip for the United Nations High Commissioner For Refugees (UNHCR). The Oscar-winning actress said that Shiloh, who was curious about Hala after hearing so much about her from her mother, instantly bonded with the little girl. "It was wonderful that they were able to meet, play together, and make friends," Angelina said.

In a new video released by the United Nations Refugee Agency, the mother-daughter duo can be seen sitting with Hala and her family as they talk about what it was like growing up in a refugee camp. "When I met Hala in 2014, they had arrived in Lebanon as refugees," Angelina, who serves as a special envoy of the UNHCR, says in the video. "One year later, I'm back with my daughter Shiloh to see how life has been." After leaving Lebanon, Angelina and Shiloh continued their humanitarian trip with a stop in Turkey.
