Austin was most recently seen in the Oscar-nominated film Whiplash, where he played a red-haired drummer named Ryan. Austin has also had roles in Love and Honor alongside Liam Hemsworth, Behaving Badly alongside Selena Gomez, Dolphin Tale, and Dolphin Tale 2.

Besides his work in movies, Austin's résumé also contains some impressive TV stints. His most recognizable role was playing Jesse on The Secret Life of the American Teenager from 2009 until 2011. He's also appeared on episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles and 90210.

Austin, the youngest of three boys, was raised in Kensington, CT, by his parents, Robert and Elizabeth. He attended the University of Connecticut, where he studied with the Department of Dramatic Arts. He graduated in 2007 with a bachelor of fine arts.

Austin was born on Dec. 24, 1984, which means he turned 30 this past year. Nina, whose birthday is less than three weeks later, is 26. Could this mean a commitment is in the near future for the couple?
