Ben Platt and Beanie Feldstein are taking their real-life friendship to the big screen with the upcoming adaptation of Merrily We Roll Along. While the young stars have gained critical acclaim for their roles on Broadway and the silver screen in recent years, their friendship dates all the way back to their teen years. Ben, 25, and Beanie, 26, first met at a mutual friend's bat mitzvah, and eventually reconnected when they attended high school together at Harvard-Westlake School in LA.
Over the years, the two have attended proms together, costarred in high school shows, and even cheered each other on during their biggest career moments. Beanie was front and center when Ben took home his first Tony in June 2017, and Ben was by Beanie's side for the world premiere of Booksmart in March 2019. They even shared the stage during the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's Annual Grants Banquet this Summer. Seeing how cute their real-life bond is, we can't wait to see them play best friends in the Richard Linklater film. See more photos of their longtime friendship ahead.
