Charice on Oprah's Where Are They Now? Video

Glee Star Charice: "My Soul Is Male"

Singer and former Glee guest star Charice discussed her sexuality and gender identity in a clip for an upcoming episode of Oprah Winfrey's Where Are They Now? In the episode, which is set to air Oct. 19, Charice talked about when she knew she was gay: "I knew when I was 5," she said. "And when I was 10, I was like, 'Oh, that's it. I'm gay.' I found the word." When Oprah asked the singer if she was considering transitioning to become male, Charice responded, "Not exactly transitioning to a male, but basically my soul is like male." Oprah has been grabbing headlines with her recent interviews with former child stars. Last week, Oprah chatted with Raven-Symoné about her own sexual identity and how she refuses to be labeled as "gay" or "African American." Watch the clip above to get a sneak peek into Charice's life, and tune in to the full episode on Sunday, Oct. 19, on the OWN channel to get the full details.
