Emma Stone Calls Out the Lack of Female Best Director Nominees at Oscars

Emma Stone is the latest actress to call out this award season's lack of female-nominated directors. Seemingly taking a page out of Natalie Portman's book, the Oscar winner made a jab at the Academy when she presented the nominees for best director. "These four men and Greta Gerwig created their own masterpieces this year," she told the crowd. Even though the Lady Bird director didn't end up taking home the award (it went to The Shape of Water's Guillermo del Toro instead), we can appreciate Emma for challenging Hollywood's sexism.
