Janet Jackson Hints That She Might Have a Baby on the Way Soon
Janet Jackson has postponed her Unbreakable World Tour for a very important reason: there might be a baby on the way soon! Janet, who wed billionaire Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana in 2012, announced the news in a touching video to her fans on Wednesday morning, saying that she has to take a break so that her body can rest.
"Hey, you guys. On Aug. 31, as you probably know, I launched the Unbreakable World Tour. First, I just want to thank all the fans for coming out and seeing the show. Thank you so much. You guys made it so enjoyable each and every night. We're in the second leg of the tour, and there actually has been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you would be the first to know my husband and I are planning our family, so I'm going to have to delay the tour. Please, if you can try to understand that it's important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor's orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue to tour as soon as I possibly can."
Although it's unclear whether or not the 49-year-old singer is actually pregnant yet, she went on to thank her dancers, band, and crew for their unwavering support during the hiatus, and she also gave a sweet shout-out to her fans, thanking them for their "undying love" and their "loyalty." This is the second time she's had to address her fans directly, after a cancer scare in January turned out to be untrue.
