There's More to Justin Theroux Than His New Wife, Jennifer Aniston

Who doesn't like a little scruff?

We call this the "Classic Theroux."

In addition to his more-serious roles, like The Leftovers, Justin is also a great comedic actor and writer. He cowrote Tropic Thunder with Ben Stiller and penned the screenplays for Iron Man 2 and Rock of Ages. He has also had many funny roles, including a stint playing Leslie Knope's boyfriend in Parks and Recreation and small parts in Your Highness, Zoolander, and Sex and the City.

Justin and Ben have known each other for years, as they cowrote Tropic Thunder together. However, Ben gave Justin full credit for the comedy film's most famous moment, saying, "That 'Never go full r*t*rd' speech is a great example of Justin's genius. It just, like, flowed out of him. When we're writing, he'll get an idea and just kind of go off." The two are also working on the script for Zoolander 2 together, which Justin will also direct.

He also has very particular opinions about men's footwear, which he told GQ magazine in October 2013:

"I have a real issue with the makers of Tevas. Not only should there never be Velcro on any shoe, there should not be Velcro and neoprene on a shoe. Then there definitely should not be Velcro, neoprene, and some sort of beaded Indian print. I know: they're comfortable. Lots of things are comfortable. I could put my feet in kneaded dough and walk down the street. That's comfortable, but I'm not going to do it, you know? Ridiculous."

Those arms could give Chris Hemsworth a run for his money.

Justin did all the illustrations for Amy Sedaris's two books, I Like You and Simple Times.

Justin is actually best friends with Amy, and the pair have a hilarious relationship. Amy interviewed Justin for Interview magazine earlier this month, and the two revealed that they like to create secret clubs together and that Justin once did Amy's makeup at a local drugstore for giggles. Despite their close friendship, the two have yet to work together beyond Justin having a cameo in the movie version of Strangers With Candy.
