Kate Winslet Is Positively Beaming on Her 40th Birthday

Monday marks a big milestone for Kate Winslet — it's her 40th birthday! The actress couldn't contain her excitement for the big day as she left an NYC building in the morning flashing a huge grin and putting up a "40" sign with her fingers for the cameras. Kate's had a busy few weeks leading up to her birthday; she premiered The Dressmaker at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, and just last week she started press rounds for the new Steve Jobs movie. Her promotional appearances included a glamorous red carpet stop during the New York Film Festival on Saturday and a chat with The Wall Street Journal during which she got pretty candid about her past relationships.
