Did Anyone Else Think of This During Katy Perry's Super Bowl Performance?

Katy Perry knocked her Super Bowl halftime show performance out of the park during Sunday night's game, bringing out adored musicians like Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliott. Katy's gig got lots of people talking on social media, and one moment toward the end of the show was giving many people flashbacks to days spent watching morning cartoons on NBC. After making her entrance on a giant animatronic tiger and turning the stage into a 1950s beach party, Katy took to the sky surrounded by sparklers and giant stars while singing "Firework" — and we couldn't help but notice how much her finale resembled those "The More You Know" PSAs that used to air during our favorite TV shows on Saturday mornings when we were growing up. Come on, we all remember those campaigns. And whether or not Katy referenced them intentionally — the Super Bowl did air on NBC, after all — you have to admit it was a fun blast from the past.
