While Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have set their Paris wedding date for May 24, the couple will reportedly be getting legally married in California sometime this week. TMZ reports that the two plan to file their marriage license "before the week is out" but that they will be getting a special "confidential" license that will allow them to stay anonymous in public records and have a court representative come to a location of their choice to officially marry them. The reason for the early wedding ceremony? France has special restrictions on who can get legally married within its borders, including a requirement that both parties have to have been legal residents for longer than 30 days before their marriage date. While Kanye has an apartment in Paris, he probably doesn't consider himself a legal resident of the City of Light, and Kim lives in LA. Many Americans who want to have a wedding in France will often get legally married in the States and then have their ceremony later.
Despite all the wedding rumors, Kim looked like she was all about business when she filmed her reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, in LA on Monday. Over the weekend, Kim got in a bit of fun with her sister Khloé Kardashian by taking part in a mud run.
