Kristen Stewart Offers Star Wars' Daisy Ridley Advice About Stardom

Ever since Star Wars: The Force Awakens hit theaters on Dec. 18, newcomer Daisy Ridley has become an overnight sensation. However, Kristen Stewart, who shot to fame after starring as Bella Swan in the Twilight films, knows from experience that there are both good and bad sides to fame. In a recent podcast interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Kristen talked about the "huge lifestyle shift" that came with being a part of the widely popular franchise and offered her advice to the up-and-coming actress.

"I did Twilight when I was 17, it came out when I was 18, and my life was never even remotely the same," Kristen admitted, adding that there is both "really heavy and really cool baggage" that comes along with fame. The "heavy baggage" presumably being the intense media attention on her personal life, something she advises Daisy to try to ignore. "Focus on the fact that you're stoked 'cause you're doing the work that you want to do. It's literally mainly just about focusing on what makes you happy. And if losing your anonymity or whatever doesn't make you happy, then focus on something else." If you want to know more about Daisy, check out her adorable Instagram snaps!
