Letitia Wright Has Some Requests For Shuri's Storyline in the Black Panther Sequel

As the breakout star of Black Panther, 24-year-old Letitia Wright is blazing a trail for young women on screen. Shuri, the tech-genius, quick-witted sister of T'Challah, is certainly no damsel in distress — and Letitia has some ideas about what she'd like to see her do in the upcoming sequel.

In our conversation, Letitia also reflected on serving as an inspiration to other young immigrants — she came to the UK from Guyana with her mother when she was a kid — and how she bonded with the other female stars of Avengers: Infinity War. (Hint: at Mark Ruffalo's expense.)

Catch Letitia in action in Avengers: Infinity War, in theaters now, and in Black Panther, available on digital on May 8 and Blu-ray on May 15.
