The self-professed "elusive chanteuse" announced the huge news during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing Thursday. She told the host and audience, "I'm going to do my first-ever residency in Vegas at Caesars. This is a special event for me." She went on to address her fans, saying, "I have to hope that the fans will enjoy this." The venture was reportedly inspired by Mariah's 1998 compilation album, Number 1's, and she will be performing some of her biggest hits, including "Always Be My Baby," "Emotions," "Vision of Love," and "Fantasy."
