Friday Feel Good: Prepare to Be Incredibly Inspired by This Commercial

The story of Nico Calabria, a boy who was born with one leg, will definitely tug at your heartstrings. In this moving Powerade commercial for the brand's 2014 FIFA World Cup campaign, footage from Nico's home videos show the challenges and victories he's come across on his way to becoming a soccer star. In the beginning, you see a young Nico struggling as he learns to navigate the world, and by the end, you see his strength and confidence as he speeds down the soccer field and scores a goal.

This isn't the first time Nico's story has been in the spotlight. When he was 13, Nico became the first person to ever summit Mount Kilimanjaro on crutches, raising $100,000 for charity and being featured in the award-winning documentary Nico's Challenge. Since then, he's graduated from high school in Massachusetts, and he'll attend Colorado College in the Fall. In the meantime, he's also a member of the US National Amputee Soccer Team, and he's currently training for the 2014 Amputee World Cup, which will take place in Mexico this November.
