Ryan Gosling, can you stop making us swoon for one second? Just one?! The Nice Guys actor appears on the cover of ES Magazine this week, which is out June 2, and his corresponding interview is a delight. Ryan opens up about everything from his uncle being an Elvis impersonator to his childhood, but what really stands out is his powerful, feminist outlook on life. As someone who was raised by his mother and older sister and is now a father to daughters Esmeralda and Amada with girlfriend Eva Mendes, he doesn't hold back his words of admiration for the female gender, which can be hard to come by in Hollywood.   • On men getting objectified for once: "It's our time as men to be on the receiving end of the stick. I grew up with women so I've always been aware of it. When my mother and I walked to the grocery store, men would circle the block in cars. It was very scary, especially as a young boy. Very predatory; a hunt."
