Seth Meyers and his wife Alexi Ashe welcomed their second child, a son named Axel Strahl, on Sunday, and the late night host shared the dramatic story of his arrival the following day on his show. The couple's first child, Ashe, was born after a very fast labor, with Seth remembering, "We were really worried that she was going to give birth in the Uber." But Ashe's little brother really upped the ante when it came to speed; the couple's second son ended up being born in the lobby of their apartment building!
Once Alexi went into labor, things moved fast, and by the time they were ready to get into the car, she could tell the baby was on the way. Seth showed off photos of the members of the fire department who assisted with the birth (one even cut the umbilical cord!) and praised all the kind people who helped bring Axel into the world safely. Watch him tell the sweet story in his own words above (it's no surprise he gets a bit choked up towards the end)!
