Taraji P. Henson Gets Caught Sleeping on the Set of Empire, Appropriately Freaks Out

Taraji P. Henson scored an Emmy nomination for outstanding lead actress in a drama series, and her Empire costar Jussie Smollett had a hilarious way of sending his congrats. On Thursday, the actor shared a behind-the-scenes Instagram video of Taraji snoozing on the set, writing, "Congrats to one of the greatest leading ladies of all time... @tarajiphenson on your #Emmy nomination. You are the most elegant, classy, inspiring artist and I love you more than words. This ones for you."

In the clip — which Jussie said was from last week — Taraji is just minding her own business, trying to catch a few zzz's in between shots. Her sleepy side-eye and complete freak-out once she wakes up and notices she's being filmed is seriously amazing. When Taraji caught wind of the funny shout-out, she reposted the video to her own feed, adding, "YOU KNOW THIS IS WAR @jussiesmollett."
