Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn Split — Read Their Heartfelt Statements

Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn are going their separate ways, the stars announced in separate statements on Sunday. "After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship," the ski racer wrote in a Facebook post. "I will always cherish the memories that we've created together." Lindsey explained the cause of their split, saying timing was an issue. "Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart," she wrote. "I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart."

Meanwhile, Tiger addressed the split in a similar statement published on his website. "Lindsey and I have mutually decided to stop dating," he said. "I have great admiration, respect and love for Lindsey and I'll always cherish our time together. She has been amazing with Sam and Charlie and my entire family. Unfortunately, we lead very hectic lives and are both competing in demanding sports. It's difficult to spend time together."

The golf pro first connected with Lindsey at a charity event in 2012. Ever since, they've shared the spotlight at sporting events and red carpets. Most recently, Tiger and Lindsey treated his kids to an adorable day of golf on April 8.
