Ashley Park is having a major summer. First, she headed to the big screen with "Joy Ride," the raunchy comedy about four Asian American friends who embark on a life-changing trip to China. The "Emily in Paris" actor plays the film's protagonist, Audrey Sullivan, who's searching for her birth mother. While Park has previously acted in films like "The V Card" and "Mr. Malcol's List," "Joy Ride" marks her first time as the main character in a major movie.

After taking on supporting roles for most of her career, Park told InStyle in a May 9 interview that she's finally "giving myself permission" to be the lead. "['Joy Ride' is] the first time I've been number one on a call sheet, and it's an opportunity that I've been very ready to do," she said. This August, she's also playing Kimber in the Broadway-themed third season of "Only Murders in the Building" alongside Selena Gomez and the rest of the star-studded cast.

Park has had a busy few years. Her recent credits include TV series like "Girls5eva" and "Beef," as well as musicals like "KPOP" and "Lady in the Dark." As Park's star continues to rise with every new project, you might be wondering what her life is like behind the scenes. In 2018, Park was romantically linked to Broadway actor Zach Adkins. According to Bustle, fans began to speculate the stars were a couple after they attended a series of events together that year, including the opening night of "The Cher Show." That November, Park also visited Adkins in New York to support his work on "Anastasia" on Broadway. "Omg there's two of them. So proud of @zachmadkins," she tweeted alongside a picture of her and Adkins standing beside an "Anastasia" poster. "Got to see the last hour of his final @AnastasiaBway matinee."

Neither Park nor Adkins ever commented on the dating rumors. Although we may never know what happened between them, they've reportedly unfollowed each other on social media since then.

Following the rumors with Adkins, Park seemingly moved on with Benjamin Tyler Cook. The two first met while working on the off-Broadway production of "Mean Girls" in 2017. Park played Gretchen Wieners in the musical, while the "West Side Story" actor was part of the show's ensemble cast. After the musical moved to Broadway in 2018, the pair continued to work together until Park left the show in 2019.

That same year, Park and Cook sparked dating rumors when they were seen at various events together, including a screening of "Aladdin," the premiere of "Tales of the City," and the Tony Awards. However, the rumors eventually fizzled out once the stars stopped making public appearances together the following year.

It's also speculated that Park once dated the French actor and model Lucas Bravo, who has starred alongside Park in "Emily In Paris" since 2020. Fans on Reddit noted the pair had mentioned each other a few times in interviews, which made them think the stars were secretly an item. For example, while talking to Tatler in December 2020, Park revealed that Bravo had personally shown her around Paris when she moved to the city to film the series.

"My four months in Paris were the happiest of my life. Lily and I were the only American actors living there for that long. Every location was as beautiful as it seems on screen," she said. "I luckily had my own personal Mindy to show me Paris: Lucas Bravo. He is an exuberant friend and guide, and it was fun to discover Paris as he was rediscovering it." Park added that Bravo and Samuel Arnold (who plays Julien in the series) even lived with her temporarily while filming.

Despite the chatter online, Bravo told Glamour in 2020 that he was single, and if he were to date, he would prefer it not to be with a costar. "Once you step on set, it's a workplace, and I want to keep it professional," he said, but he didn't rule out the possibility entirely. "I mean, you never know what can happen, but I really try as much as possible to focus on the story we have to tell and the performance and the character. But I never know."

Some fans still think Park and Bravo were at one point more than just friends, however. According to the Reddit thread, they used to comment on each other's Instagram posts "all the time" before they seemingly unfollowed each other in 2022. "I very much think they were dating and that they probably broke up now," one fan said in response to the dating rumors.

At the end of the day, it seems we may never know what really went down behind the scenes since Park prefers to keep her personal life out of the spotlight.
