Several Exes Ran into Each Other at the Met Gala

With the Met Gala's star-studded guest list, it was only expected that a number of celebrity exes would run into one another on fashion's biggest night of the year. During the red carpet and party inside the Met Museum, former couples either embraced the awkward run-in, shared friendly exchanges, or managed to avoid a publicized encounter.

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, who parted ways in August 2022, were photographed laughing together in the midst of a chat with Usher. Davidson also may have potentially come across his previous fling, Emily Ratajkowski. (The two dated for a month at the end of 2022.) Known to be good friends despite their breakup in 2019, coparents Irina Shayk and Bradley Cooper were also seen sharing a chummy interaction.

Diddy and Yung Miami, on the other hand, posed together on the Met Gala red carpet, after confirming their split just a few weeks prior. It's unclear whether they're exes on very good terms or back together, as Diddy simply clarified, Yung Miami was his "date for the night." "We don't put titles on it," he said.

Two of Robert Pattinson's former partners, Kristen Stewart and FKA Twigs, were also in attendance at the event, though there's no evidence of a run-in between either of the pairs. Pattinson adorably posed on the red carpet with girlfriend Suki Waterhouse, who he's been quietly dating since 2018.

The close coparents appeared to have an intimate conversation inside the party. Since splitting in 2019, they've been seen together on numerous occasions, both with and without their daughter Lea de Seine.

Interestingly enough, Kardashian and Davidson first met at the Met Gala two years prior, and attended the 2022 event together. Davidson is now happily dating his "Bodies Bodies Bodies" costar Chase Sui Wonders.

Ratajkowski and Davidson dated for a short time, quickly after each broke up with their respective partners, Sebastian Bear-McClard and Kardashian. Their rumored fling reportedly only lasted for the month of November 2022.

The former "Twilight" costars famously dated on and off for about four years, between 2009 and 2013. They ultimately split following Stewart's cheating scandal with director Rupert Sanders, though they've reportedly remained friends over the years.

Pattinson and FKA Twigs first sparked dating rumors in 2014, and were even reportedly engaged in 2015. The reason for their breakup two years later is unknown.

In an interview published earlier in April, Yung Miami confirmed she and Diddy were no longer together. However, the pair confused fans when they attended the Met Gala hand in hand. Their relationship status remains unclear, as Diddy simply said Yung Miami was his "date for the night."
