While fans have been lusting after Mylchreest on screen and in awe of the palpable chemistry between him and Amarteifio, he is in a relationship. Information about the actor's private life is scarce and he only posts about his work projects on social media, but he did reveal that he has a girlfriend while promoting "Queen Charlotte." When asked whether he had seen "Bridgerton" before he got the role, he told Extra: "I was told not to watch it, to try not to emulate any of the performances. And as soon as I got the job, I was like, 'Alright, I gotta binge this thing.' I sat down with my girlfriend and we did the whole shebang."

Corey Mylchreest Got Advice for "Queen Charlotte" From Fellow 'Bridgerton" Stars

Ahead of filming for "Queen Charlotte," Mylchreest was given some poignant advice from his predecessors in the "Bridgerton" universe. He told Today that Regé-Jane Page, who played the Duke of Hastings in season one, told him: "Anything that's outside out the stuff that will help you between action and cut doesn't exist, and everything that will help you, it does," he says. "Let that stuff in, but everything else, just let it slide off you."

Jonathan Bailey, aka Anthony Bridgerton, also had many conversations with Mylchreest, so many that "it would take a long time to sum up," he said. "They are both very lovely people. They are also incredibly beautiful. And I'm very aware that they are running different races to me," he added.

Corey Mylchreest Celebrated Getting the Role In a Snooker Club

You might think bagging a lead role in "Queen Charlotte" would be cause for popping open the champagne, but Mylchreest celebrated in a more low-key manner. Speaking to Liv Marks, he explained how he was with his girlfriend when he got the call, but as the decision had been made in LA, it was midnight in the UK.

"I was already asleep . . . I didn't want to wake up her housemate, so I was in like a robe in a corridor and I remember being like 'look, these things go either way, you can't, don't feel sorry for me, don't pity me, I don't want any of that, it's probably not going to work out,'" he said. "And then I came back in and I was like 'oh my god, I don't know what the hell just happened. And then I was in shock and she was like 'you gotta do something to celebrate' and the only place that was open was the local snooker club. So we went and played snooker."
