Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma's Mexican Getaway Includes Dreamy Sunset Views

This is what vacation dreams are made of. After nearly four years of marriage, Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma make great travel partners, and they made that perfectly clear in photos from their trip to Mexico posted on Instagram on Sept. 11. The intimate tropical getaway included picturesque views, beachside cocktails, and an incredible pool directly overlooking the ocean. Duff and Koma summed up their magical trip with a photo of them staring adoringly at one another with a bright orange sunset in the background.

While living her best Lizzie McGuire life on the beach, Duff packed equally dreamy vacation-wear, including a green floral maxi dress, a chic minidress with quiet luxury-inspired accessories, and a tropical-print button down for exploring the resort (seemingly in Punta Mita). This much-deserved R&R comes shortly after Hulu's shocking cancellation of Duff's "How I Met Your Father," so it's no surprise the pair made the most out of this small break.

The couple originally met while working on Duff's iconic 2015 album "Breathe In. Breathe Out." They formed a friendship right away, and struck up a romantic relationship for the first time in 2017. "We knew we just had to be together because we tried a bunch of times to be apart, and that didn't work out for either one of us," Duff told People in 2021. Since tying the knot in December 2019, they've taken many luxurious trips together, celebrating Valentine's Day 2017 in Costa Rica, and honeymooning in South Africa. Read on to see how Duff and Koma enjoyed their Mexican vacation.
