Jaz Sinclair Has Only Had 1 Public Relationship

Jaz Sinclair knows her personal life is a topic of conversation for her fans. While she'd love to shout from the mountaintops when she's in love, she realizes that it's sometimes better to play coy due to her star status. The "Paper Towns" actor spoke to Buzzfeed back in 2019 and explained why she prefers to keep her love life private.

"Oh my God, if I wasn't an actress and in a relationship, I would be like, 'This is motherf*cking boo, y'all! Check it out! Here's us making out on the f*cking bridge! Here's us making out by the f*cking lamp!' That's how I am," she explained. "...I've worked really hard to be where I am, and as a Black woman, harder. So, I'm not willing to be someone's girlfriend in my career, because that's not what I worked for. I wanna be known for my accomplishments, not who I love."

While Sinclair had hopes of keeping her private life out of the spotlight, it was hard to hide when she started dating her "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" costar Ross Lynch in 2018.

Fans first got curious about their relationship status that December when Sinclair "stormed into" Lynch's room for a sweet birthday surprise, which he spoke about in an Instagram post at the time, writing, "It's my burthdaayyyyy. This photo was taken after @gavinleatherwood and @jaz_sinclair stormed into my room with coffee blaring 'it's a beautiful morning' by The Wipe Outs. It was great way to wake up."

Over the next several months, the duo would go on to subtly tease their relationship in multiple Instagram posts before making their red carpet debut as a couple at the Balmain fashion show in Paris in January 2020.

In April 2020, Lynch addressed hateful comments about his relationship with Sinclair in an Instagram post. "Yo guys whoever is being hateful to jasmine and I's relationship (especially on a race basis wtf) can take a step back," he wrote. "We are both extremely happy. Thanks 👍."

From there, Lynch continued to document their fun-filled relationship, which included plenty of nature adventures and low-key dates. His last post with Sinclair was in October 2022, so it's unclear if they're still together.
