Jonathan Majors's Girlfriend Meagan Good Supports Actor at Latest Court Appearance

Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good's relationship still seems to be going strong amid the former's assault and harassment charges. POPSUGAR confirmed in May that the "Creed III" actor, 33, and "Harlem" star, 41, are dating. TMZ was the first to report the news and People also confirmed.

Since then, the two have been spotted out together a number of times. Most recently, they were seen together in New York City at Majors's latest court hearing on Aug. 3 for his assault trial, which has been delayed until Sept. 6, per Deadline. The pair were photographed walking into the Manhattan Criminal Court hand in hand. Good supported Majors at his May 9 court hearing as well, where they were also seen entering and exiting court together holding hands.

Previously, Majors and Good were spotted seeing a movie together at the Alamo Drafthouse in Los Angeles the week before their relationship was confirmed, People noted. Per photos obtained by TMZ, the two were also seen at Red Lobster with Good's family on May 23 and out shopping in Fez, Morocco, on June 4.

On June 28, a source close to Good told People that the actor's friends are respecting her choice to date Majors, saying, "It's obviously not the best situation, but they're letting her make her own decisions." The insider added, "It's been a little stunning to see her go from [ex-husband DeVon Franklin], with faith at the center of their marriage, to Jon, but also understandable why she'd go for someone who's totally different after being with the same person for so long and not having it work out."

News of Good and Majors's relationship came just a few months after his March 25 NYC arrest in an alleged domestic dispute. Three days later, the Manhattan District Attorney sent a statement to POPSUGAR revealing the actor was arraigned the following day on misdemeanor charges of assault and aggravated harassment of an unnamed woman.

Majors has denied all accusations against him via his attorney, Priya Chaudhry. After his May court hearing, Chaudhry shared a statement with POPSUGAR claiming she has "irrefutable evidence that the woman is lying, including video proof showing nothing happened." She also called the case a "witch hunt."

Following his arrest, Majors was dropped from the movie "The Man in My Basement" and is no longer in consideration for a role in an unannounced Otis Redding biopic, as reported by Deadline. He is currently still slated to appear in "Loki" season two.

Meanwhile, Good split from her ex-husband, Franklin, in 2021 after nine years of marriage. The "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" star opened up about the difficult period following her divorce and how she moved on in a March interview with Essence. "Once I accepted everything, I felt grateful for the time we had together and the beautiful journey," she said of Franklin. "Then there was an excitement. I get to start life all over again, in my prime, with so many incredible things happening in my life and in my career. I get to do this again."
