Lizzo Took a Break From Australian Tour Dates to Help Those Affected by Brutal Brush Fires

On Wednesday, Lizzo took some time during her tour to do some good. The singer stopped by the Foodbank Australia warehouse in Melbourne to pack hampers and provide relief to those affected by the bushfires taking over parts of the country. The relentless fires have left widespread damage, taking the lives of an estimated one billion animals and over 20 people and leaving millions of acres destroyed. Lizzo spent time with volunteers and packed boxes of emergency food and water to be delivered to the affected communities.

The fires have been burning since September, and have caused devastating loss to the country. Lizzo is one of the many celebrities who have expressed concern over the heartbreaking disaster. Chris Hemsworth, Pink, Selena Gomez, Nicole Kidman, Margot Robbie, and many more have pledged donations to aid in Australia's relief.
