Megan Thee Stallion is using her platform for good. During Thursday's appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the "Cry Baby" rapper teamed up with the talk show host to surprise a frontline nurse named Jamelmenique Hoy. Jamelmenique temporarily relocated her family from Mississippi to Houston back in July, so that she could help treat coronavirus patients amid the ongoing pandemic. She and her husband have been living in a one-bedroom hotel room with their five kids since then, and she's also been studying to get her master's degree.

Naturally, Megan wanted to help when she learned about Jamelmenique's story, so she surprised her by joining forces with Shutterfly to gift the mother of five $50,000 to help pay off her student loans. "Thank you for helping the world," Megan told Jamelmenique as she teared up. The entire exchange was beyond sweet. Watch the emotional moment in the video above.
