Harry and Meghan Celebrated Archie's Second Birthday With a Generous Donation

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are teaching Archie the value of giving back to others. In honor of their son's second birthday on May 6, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex donated 200 Make Give Live beanies to New Zealand's I Got Your Back Pack charity, which provides emergency care packs filled with essential items to victims of domestic violence.

"Thank you Harry & Meghan, Duke & Duchess of Sussex, and of course, Archie for the generous donation of these 200 beanies to your friends on the other side of the world in NZ," Make Give Live wrote on Instagram on Sunday. "@igotyourbackpacknz was very grateful for them and they will be sent in care packs to refuges around NZ to warm heads and hearts. It also meant alot for our maker community to have something special to bring them together to enjoy connection and creativity whilst making them, and didn't they do an incredible job!?"

In addition to their generous donation, Harry and Meghan also celebrated their little one's big day by asking people to donate to COVID-19 vaccine equity and sharing a new portrait of Archie via their Archewell foundation website. The couple are currently expecting their second child, a baby girl, and we're sure they're going to instill the same philanthropic values in their daughter when she arrives later this summer.
