Millie Bobby Brown Celebrates Fiancé Jake Bongiovi's Birthday: "This Sums Us Up"

Millie Bobby Brown shared a special tribute to her fiancé, Jake Bongiovi, in celebration of his 21st birthday. On May 7, the "Stranger Things" star posted a carousel of photos featuring her and Bongiovi holding hands around the world on her Instagram.

"This sums us up," Brown captioned her post. "In bliss, exploring together. I am eternally holding your hand. happy birthday fiancé. I love you ."

Each one of the snaps was taken from behind, seemingly catching the couple in a variety of candid moments. In the first photo, they're standing together on a brightly lit street at night with their arms around each other's backs. The second pic is a blurry photo of the pair walking through a lobby, and in the third, they're smiling and holding hands outside. The final photo is a glam one that appears to have been taken backstage at the "Enola Holmes 2" premiere.

Brown and Bongiovi have been dating since 2021. They went on to make their red carpet debut at the BAFTAs in 2022, and they officially announced their engagement in April. At the time, the 19-year-old actor shared a black-and-white photo showing off her ring on Instagram. She captioned the post with a line from Taylor Swift's song "Lover": "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all ." Meanwhile, Bongiovi — who is the son of Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley — shared two beach photos to his grid alongside the simple caption, "Forever ."

Since announcing their engagement, the couple have faced some criticism due to their age. But as far as Bon Jovi is concerned, Brown and his son are the perfect pair. "I don't know if age matters," he said to Andy Cohen on SiriusXM's "Andy Cohen Live." "You know, if you find the right partner and you grow together, I think that would be my advice really, is growing together is wise."

The rock star added, "Millie is wonderful. Her whole family is great. Jake is very happy."
