Dexter stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter fell in love on the set and married in 2008. Soon after their divorce was finalized in December 2011, the pair was photographed enjoying the LA sunset together, sparking rumors that they had rekindled their romance. Both stars denied a reunion, and Jennifer told Entertainment Weekly that year, "He is and always will be one of my best friends in the world. And just because the marriage ended doesn't mean the love isn't still there." Michael and Jennifer continued to film and promote Dexter together until the series ended in September 2013. They've both since moved on to other partners; Michael tied the knot with girlfriend Morgan Macgregor in March 2016, and Jennifer married musician Seth Avett in May, several months after welcoming their first child.
