Robin Williams's Daughter Honors Her Dad With a Thoughtful Tattoo

Zelda Williams has taken to Instagram to share a permanent tribute to her father, Robin Williams. Over two months since Robin's death, the actor's only daughter got a hummingbird tattooed on her hand. "For poppo," she captioned a snap of the design, which also features his birthdate, "7-21-51," on her wrist. "Thank you to the incomparable @dr_woo_ssc for so beautifully bringing my reminders to life. I'll always put my hand out to shake with a smile," she wrote.

Zelda, who made headlines when she took a break from social media after Robin's passing, used the picture as an opportunity to address her online presence, writing:

As for this Instagram, I don't know in what capacity I'll continue using it in the future, but I'm leaving it up regardless so that fake accounts hoping to use my name or misuse my family's photos will get no traction. To be clear, this is MY ONLY account. Publicly, I have Twitter, and this. If other people post quotes and photos claiming to be me or my family, please, do not send them personal information or click links, even for charity. They could be utilizing sympathy to scam you. For the record, no one has ever or will ever speak for me but me. Thank you.

This isn't the first time Zelda has opened up about her dad in the aftermath of his death — she shared a sweet message about him on Twitter and released a statement to the public in August. Keep reading to see Zelda's new tattoo.

Zelda posted a picture of her new tattoo on Instagram on Wednesday.

Zelda's tattoo artist, known as Dr. Woo, also shared a picture of his creation, writing, "A special hummingbird for @zeldawilliams."

Robin and Zelda had a sweet father-daughter moment in front of the cameras at an event for his movie World's Greatest Dad in 2009.
