Ciara's "I Bet" Is the Sexiest, Classiest Dis Video Ever — and Here's Why

Ciara released the music video for her new single "I Bet" this week, and not only does she look completely amazing in it (can you believe she's had a child?), but it's also arguably one of the hottest, most gracious ways to get revenge on an (alleged) unfaithful ex. The ballet-inspired clip features the 29-year-old singer writhing, twirling, and pirouetting while crooning heartfelt lyrics like, "I can take care of myself and I can find someone to do it too, baby / You actin' like you upgraded me, I upgraded you." It's a perfect song for someone going through a breakup; so much so that we recommend cranking it up to the highest possible volume while singing into your hairbrush.

The song is very clearly directed at Ciara's ex-fiancé, rapper Future; yes, the lyrics point to an adulterous partner, but you can even hear a rapper ad-libbing in the background using the same inflection that Future does on his songs. For some background, the couple called off their engagement in August 2014, just three months after their son, Future Zahir Wilburn, was born. At the time, a source told Us Weekly, "He cheated on her. Game over," with more reports alleging that the rapper was getting hot and heavy with his wardrobe stylist. Listen: whatever happened in Ciara and Future's relationship is obviously over and done with, but at least the chicness of "I Bet" will live on forever. Watch the singer prove the old adage "Looking good is the best revenge" in her latest music video now. Source: Instagram user ciara
