Prince William and Kate Middleton's Royal Road to Baby #3

Prince William and Kate Middleton have had a fairy-tale romance since meeting as students over a decade ago, but they've had some challenges along the way. They briefly split in 2007 and moved around the UK as his job changed. Throughout it all, royal fans have been absolutely intrigued by the story of how a sporty girl from the small village of Bucklebury captured the heart of the heir to the British throne. There is something special about Will and Kate's romance, which of course led to a spectacular 2011 wedding, a son named George, a daughter named Charlotte, and now a third baby on the way. Prince William and Kate Middleton meet as students at Scotland's St. Andrews University, from which they graduate in 2005. She majors in art history, and he in geography. Their relationship becomes public knowledge in 2004, when they are photographed on a ski vacation together. For a time, they share a house with two other friends.

After graduation, William and Kate begin finding their paths in the adult world. Kate, based in London, works intermittently for her parents' company Party Pieces and then for the retail chain Jigsaw. William, meanwhile, embarks on the first steps of his military career, enrolling at the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst, England.

Attention on William and Kate's relationship intensifies after she attends his graduation from Sandhurst in December 2006. There are other signs she's being accepted into the royal clan, including her attendance at the wedding of William's stepsister, Laura Parker Bowles. While Kate continues spending the bulk of her time in London, William begins a new course of military training in Southwestern England.
