In October, Katie Holmes gave a cryptic apology for events that happened at her and Tom Cruise's wedding in 2006. Leah Remini revealed in a 20/20 special that several people had written notes about her "bad behavior" at the wedding and sent the reports to the Church of Scientology, which she was part of at the time.
The actress claimed Katie was one of the members who had reported her behavior and read a document that reportedly contained what Katie wrote about her. It said, "I was dismayed at the behavior of Leah Remini during the events leading up to our wedding and our wedding. The behavior of a guest, a friend, that was very upsetting."
Despite rumors that Katie would also make an appearance on Leah's 20/20 episode, Katie did not and only offered this statement: "I regret having upset Leah in the past and wish her only the best in the future."
