This Party Nearly Rivaled the Golden Globes' Star Power With Gwyneth, Ringo, and More

Stella McCartney presented her Autumn 2016 collection in LA Tuesday night with one of the most memorable — and star-packed — parties in recent memory. After all, when Gwyneth Paltrow, Ringo Starr, Beck, Mary J. Blige, Kate Hudson, Katy Perry, and Demi Lovato are just a handful of the stars who show up to your event, you know it's a hot ticket.

The soirée-slash-fashion-show took place at Hollywood's historic Amoeba Music record store, where guests were served mini quesadillas on vinyl records and treated to surprise performances by the likes of Pink and Johnny Depp with Marilyn Manson. Inside, we spotted Kiernan Shipka hanging out with Amandla Stenberg and later striking up a conversation with Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon, while Stella herself took timeouts to chat up friends like Gwyneth, Kate, and Mary J. Meanwhile, Katy rolled solo and posed for pictures with female friends like Kate and Nicole Richie after her flirty Golden Globes night with Orlando Bloom, but when Orlando arrived to the party later, the two were seen hugging and chatting.

The meeting of music and fashion was totally in keeping with Stella's vibe, and even seasoned LA partygoers were impressed with the guest list. "Everyone's here," we overheard one incredulous attendee shout over the roar of the David Bowie soundtrack that filled the air between performances. And to be honest, it kind of felt like they were.
