Team Taylor Swift Unites to Defend Her Against Those Kanye West Lyrics

It's barely been a year since Taylor Swift and Kanye West officially made up at the 2015 Grammy Awards, and now they've probably got bad blood. On Thursday, during his Yeezy Season 3 presentation as part of New York Fashion Week, Kanye released a new song with lyics that refer very graphically to Taylor. Her brother Austin almost immediately responded with a pretty great "Spring Cleaning" video, which showed him throwing out his Yeezy sneakers. The controversy stirred from there, eventually inspiring Kanye to go on yet another Twitter rant, this time about the lyrics in question and Tay's alleged involvement. Kanye's not the only one using social media to comment on the lyrics, though — Taylor Swift's squad is hot on his heels. Keep reading to see all the friends and loved ones who have weighed in so far.

Like Calvin, Selena hasn't officially commented on or tweeted about the lyrics, but she had other ways of showing her support.

Jaime King

Seeing as Taylor Swift is the godmother of Jaime King's son, this makes sense.

Karlie hasn't commented on the incident, but her activity suggests she sided with Taylor. According to Us Weekly, Karlie Instagrammed a picture of her Yeezys last night, but the fact that she's since removed her post is pretty telling.

Ruby spoke not only on Taylor's behalf, but on the behalf of the scores of women affected by Kanye's recent activity.

In the thick of this whole mess, Taylor has remained mute on her social media accounts. According to a statement from her rep, posted by People, "Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single 'Famous' on her Twitter account," adding, "She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, 'I made that b*tch famous.'"
