The Obama Women Are Greeted by Royalty After They Touch Down in Morocco For a Girls' Trip

Another day, another fabulous outing by the Obama women. On Tuesday, Michelle and daughters Malia and Sasha were spotted arriving at Marrakesh International Airport in coordinating printed ensembles. Upon their arrival, the ladies flashed big smiles as they were welcomed with open arms by King Mohammed VI's wife, Moroccan Princess Lalla Salma. The family is visiting Morocco as part of Michelle's initiative Let Girls Learn, and later that day, the first lady participated in a CNN-moderated panel alongside Meryl Streep and Freida Pinto, where she spoke to adolescent girls about the challenges they face in getting a quality education.

Of course, this is just one of the many vacations the brood has taken since Barack Obama became president in 2009. During the holidays, the family usually jets off to Barack's native Hawaii to ring in the New Year, and during the Summer, they can usually be found relaxing in Martha's Vineyard, MA. See more of the ladies' getaway here, then in honor of the upcoming Fourth of July holiday, flip through the Obamas' Independence Day traditions over the years.
