William has always been close to his cousin Zara, so much so that she is Prince George's godmother, and Kate gets on very well with her, too. The pair usually gravitate to each other at royal get-togethers, and when William and Kate were tentatively getting back together after their breakup and they attended the Diana Memorial Concert, Kate was sat directly behind Zara and they were spotted chatting together. Prince George and and Zara's daughter Mia are of a similar age, so like their royal parents they have also been playmates since birth.
