The Mobb deep rapper passed away at age 42 after being hospitalized for complications caused by a sickle cell anemia crisis in June. His rep released a statement to TMZ, saying, "As most of his fans know, Prodigy battled the disease since birth . . . the exact cause of death has not been determined."
