Mariah and James first sparked dating rumors when they were photographed vacationing in Italy in June 2015. The duo made their red carpet debut a few months later and were engaged by January 2016. In addition to the massive 35-carat diamond stunner James proposed to Mariah with, the singer had already purchased her wedding dress and made plans for a small wedding.
Unfortunately, the wedding never happened as the two split in October 2016. Mariah's rep released a statement to ET about the breakup, confirming that they hadn't seen each other since they had an argument in Greece in September 2016. "The fight was not because of any cheating allegations or excessive spending by Mariah," the rep explained. "They are trying to work it out. Right now, they're not sure if they will stay together." Most recently, Mariah pulled a savage "I don't know her" when asked about James during an interview in Tel Aviv.
