Michelle Obama Graces the ESPYs With Her Presence For a Special Award

Michelle Obama may not be in the White House anymore, but she's still making a difference in the community. On Wednesday, the former FLOTUS took a break from her relaxing family vacations to attend the ESPY Awards in LA. After receiving a standing ovation from the crowd, she gave a heartfelt speech as she honored the late Eunice Kennedy Shriver with the Arthur Ashe award for courage. "I am here tonight to honor a remarkable woman," she said about the Special Olympics founder. "A woman who believed everyone has something to contribute and everyone deserves to push themselves to find out what they're made of and to compete and win. She knew that when we give others a chance to fulfill our greatest potential, we all win." Eunice's son Tim, who accepted the award on his mother's behalf, took the words right out of our mouths as he started his speech by saying, "Once a great first lady, still a great first lady."
