The couple waited for Sophie to finish filming the last season of Game of Thrones before beginning to slowly plan their wedding. During The Late Late Show, Joe revealed that they were going to have a Summer wedding, which has now been confirmed as happening the last weekend of June 2019. The festivities began on June 27th when Sophie, Joe — as well as Nick's brothers and wives — arrived in the South of France after spending a week in Paris for Men's Fashion Week.

In November 2018, life coach Mike Bayer accidentally revealed Joe and Sophie's wedding location when he posted a now-deleted Instagram Story clip of their wedding invitation which read, "Sophie and Joe 2019 France." The venue has now been confirmed as the Château de Tourreau, a restored 18th-century castle in Sarrians, which is a city in the Provence region of the South of France.

Since Joe was a groomsman in Kevin and Nick's weddings, it's safe to assume that he will include them and his youngest brother, Frankie, in his wedding to Sophie.

Because Stark siblings stick together, Sophie has already asked her real-life BFF Maisie Williams to be one of her two maids of honor. Based on the tight bond Sophie shares with her sisters-in-law, Danielle Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, it's likely they'll be bridesmaids as well.
