Second Becky Has Been Busy: Here's What Sarah Chalke's Done Since Roseanne Ended

Sarah Chalke is just one of the original cast members of Roseanne to return for the show's reboot, though her new role is sort of a twist: instead of portraying older daughter Becky Conner (which she did on seasons six through nine of the show), Sarah plays Andrea, a middle-class married woman who hires the original Becky (Lecy Goranson) as her surrogate.

While Sarah might be best known for her role as the hilarious yet painfully insecure Dr. Elliot Reid on Scrubs, the 41-year-old Canadian-born actress has actually been keeping quite busy both on and off screen since Roseanne ended in 1997. Keep reading to get caught up on her life, then find out where the rest of the Scrubs cast has ended up.

After the Roseanne finale, Sarah went on to star in a handful of TV movies and the short-lived CBS series Nothing Too Good For a Cowboy. In 2001, she landed the role of Dr. Elliot Reid on NBC's medical comedy Scrubs, who she played for the entire nine-season run.

During that time, she also appeared in the Lifetime movie Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy, the Lifetime miniseries Maneater, and in 10 episodes of How I Met Your Mother as Ted's (Josh Radnor) fiancée, Stella Zinman.

In December 2006, Sarah got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Jamie Afifi. That same month, they welcomed their first child together, son Charlie. Their daughter, Frankie, was born in May 2016.

After Scrubs ended in 2010, Sarah starred in the third season of another Bill Lawrence-created show, Cougar Town. She also appeared in an episode of Grey's Anatomy in 2013 and starred in the ABC sitcom How to Live With Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life) with Brad Garrett and Elizabeth Perkins. It was canceled after one season.

Since 2013, Sarah has provided the voice of Morty Smith's mother, Beth, on the Adult Swim animated series Rick and Morty. She's made appearances on Angie Tribeca, Inside Amy Schumer, and Undateable, and in 2017, it was confirmed that Sarah would be returning to the Roseanne reboot in a new role.
